Alice Dolls: Romanian Mythological Goddesses

Hi, everyone!

I'm Alice of Alice Dolls. (you can find me on insta here & on facebook here)

I make porcelain & resin dolls with a story. I'm fascinated by the beautiful Romanian mythology with its oh-so-visual legends. That's why, as a visual artist, I've decided a couple of years ago that I should bring "to life" all these intense stories through BJD characters. Each of them is a fine work of porcelain art, painted carefully with metallic luster within hours of concentrated work, adorned with precious traditional Romanian wear (hand embroidered shirts and dresses, each taking around 2 months of skilled work to its final form), Sterling Silver and Gold jewelry, Rubys, Saphhires and Swarovski crystals. Each symbol, color and material choice is relevant to the doll's story.

I've introduced to you my collection of porcelain goddesses a while back, but never in this light. I've prepared a new-and-improved photoshoot for them and couldn't wait to share it with the world.
