Author bio or company statement (Taken from her website) I am delighted to welcome you to my website and I am very proud to introduce you to the world of Lightpainted Dolls- where ball jointed dolls, sculpture and photography meet.
I’m a doll maker and photographer living in London. I have been immersed in art ever since I can remember. Hugely interested in dolls and “painting with light”, I combined the two areas, which enabled me to create my distinguished styles in doll photography and doll making.
During my doll customisation work, every time I gave a new BJD an individual, life-infusing look, I dreamt of making my own artist poupée from scratch. ... I studied porcelain doll making and all ‘pro’s’ and ‘con’s’ of this very special and incredibly durable, yet delicate, material. I have developed my style in doll sculpture, and understood tricks of the trade, which I have incorporated into my doll making.
Thank you for your interest and wonderful support and following!
