I love that red-haired wig, the doll looks like Rapunzel, gorgeous!

She is surely one of my favorite Vivid Dolls. I agree with the other descriptions of her, She looks like a pale, fragile, "pre-Raphaelite" or Medieval princess. She really is gorgeous. just what I was thinking when I first saw her...she's definitetly one of the most beaufiful - if not the most - dolls in this collection. Pre-Raphaelite is a perfect word to describe her. She looks like Ophelia or an embodiment of The Lady of Shalott. (However, technically, I don't understand the artist's choice for the square knee and elbow joints...what do you think of them?)

She really is stunning & the white dress and fiery red hair are a beautiful contrast. Congratulations on your new Vivid Doll!

(However, technically, I don't understand the artist's choice for the square knee and elbow joints...what do you think of them?) I personally think that the joints are great. Unobstrusive, yet working very well. at the end of the day, the pioneer of brilliant-looking and working double joints, Marina Bychkova, created something that gives the doll's knees quite square appearance as well but we're now used to it and those have become the norm. Polina has even revised her joints in the most recent dolls to be just like that. I personally prefer these, I think. My favourite double joints are still Lidia Snul's, however. They have the most natural appearance (well, the knees do, if not the entire legs) and they offer the widest range of movement. In my view, these joints here look even better than Marina's joints when the doll's legs are straight and when they bend- perhaps even better? Of course, that's a matter of personal preference.

I agree with you about the square-looking knees of Marina Bychkova's dolls and many others; joints are the trickiest part to develop. The difficulty with creating joints is to balance form and function and I was just wondering if you could rotate the knees and elbows considering the square shape of the inner part. Looking at the photos I also wonder if the risk of breakage of the leg part itself is not higher if you move it sideways as there seems to be some leverage on each side of the joint.
