My Forgotten Hearts doll is here! Thank you Aida & Gamalier. She is arrived safe and sound in a few days from Porto Rico. I really appreciated the kindness shown in every moment we got in contact. They were very helpful and they even made a new head because the first did not come as I wanted. I'm happy for how this experience ended. Susanna

There is a forgotten hearts doll on ebay right now- she was listed previously at a higher price but the listing expired with no bids. I had asked the owner a few questions such as 1) how is her posing 2) what year she is from 3) whether there are pictures of how she looked originally 4) whether she had a name 5) whether there were any cracks or chips The response was: "Her name is Yuri and I kept her behind a curio cabinet. I barely touched her and I will inspect her closely tomorrow. I do have the original pictures Aida sent me but they are not on my phone but my computer that I can hopefully get to tomorrow." No further response was provided. She recently relisted the doll. www.ebay.com/itm/201591028168?ul_noapp=true The relisting seems to have better pictures. I looked at them carefully- and it appears this doll has single joints. It also looks like the hip joints might not fit well with the hip, so she might have trouble standing up straight? Or standing at all? Can single joints like that hold a pose with the arms? Probably not right? I'm guessing this was an earlier doll but really have no idea. Is anyone familiar with her? She has such a beautiful face that I was tempted by her (if I hadn't just bought a different porcelain). But I will admit the poor posing is a big deal for me. Has anyone bought a forgotten hearts doll recently? Do they pose much better now? It's a little odd there is very little feedback about this company although it has been around a while now.

Has anyone bought a forgotten hearts doll recently? Do they pose much better now? It's a little odd there is very little feedback about this company although it has been around a while now. This doll on eBay is 2-3 body designs in the past, probably made around 2005-2010 if I were to guess. Some parts of that body are the same as the doll called Tosakin I bought used a while ago. The posing was terrible. Box opening with lots of commentary: heartsofclay.freeforums.net/thread/181/tosakin-arrives-secondhand-forgotten-hearts Review: heartsofclay.freeforums.net/thread/193/forgotten-hearts-aiis-gamalier-bravoThat doll had a lot of flaws, and the doll you are looking at is even older so... you are right she has a dramatic look, but I bet in person her paintwork is not very impressive. Forgotten hearts made a new body since then, the posing of which was also not good. Box opening with commentary:http://heartsofclay.freeforums.net/thread/385/abelle-arrives-forgotten-hearts-doll I have handled one of the larger fine art dolls as well. She looks much better than my two dolls overall. The posing was better but still not as good as other dolls I have seen (by other artists). FH has since made newer bodies that I have not tested yet. In my opinion, if you want an excellent poser, FH is not the right company for you. Their dolls are good at that nice-initial-impression-on-the-shelf look, or for someone very new to porcelain bjds. Posing them has always felt frustrating to me.

Hi! does anyone know if FH has improved in providing quality that matches the cost? they have stunning faces, I'm just worried about getting into a bad transaction.
