FH, I just saw your post today. What a wonderful offer! Very interesting to me, I am PMing you.
Nanyalin, thank you so much! I am learning a lot too!
Here is one of the things I learned, kiln cleaning is not so easy. The ceramics studio I take a class at will not do it because they can't be sure of the proper temperature to fire the doll at since they did not buy the porcelain slip themselves. Firing at the wrong temperature could result in the doll melting, which would be such a tragedy and would also damage the very expensive kiln. I have a few other ideas, but FHdolls offer is quite tantalizing...I will pursue it I think.

Got the tension supplies for Tosakin. Hmm, perhaps I made a mistake with one of the springs? What do you think? ~One of these springs is not like the others...~

Gosh, ordering springs is always SUCH a nightmare! Well, now you'll have to make a lifesize doll to use the super large springs.

Even for that they would be useless! They are so stiff, I think they must be used in car engines or something!
I left out one number from my product code, but at least they were only a few dollars. I think I may have enough to finish her without them, but we shall see. I am very busy getting ready for doll shows this season so I might not have time to work on her for a while longer. Sigh. I'm so slow!

This is really awesome! Can't wait to see more pictures! Thank you! I have been so busy trying to make a living I have little time for projects without profit like this one. Sad but true. Someday...

oh gosh! I haven't read this post before, but I was just buying different extension springs from my local hardware store today. This cracked me up! I totally feel your pain(from a few months ago, hehe!) I've been trying to find the right size springs for my girl, it is a lot of trial and error. I've had a good experience with "leespring.com". Their 1-800 customer service is SUPER nice. Hopefully you get some free time!
