You need to ask the doll maker for a new leg. Since it is strung with elastic it should not be terribly hard to put on, with some direction. Otherwise you will have to send the doll back to be fixed which can be risky and costly (as in shipping costs).

Does anyone how the broken leg was fixed or does the doll have to use crutches forever more?? I know for sure that Polina offered to fix it.

Glad to hear. Polina is so fantastic and responsive that I'm not surprised.

It's super easy to restring her dolls. I accidentally popped off my girl's entire arm but easily put it back together.

Has anyone seen Polina's latest blog entries? I love Tanisha and Ignus. Just wish my bank account would cooperate. I hope someone on this board will get one so I can see more. Also, are the new dolls being strung with elastic or steel springs this time around? Very curious.

I am with you on this. Wondering how the big girls bodies will look- guessing fantastic. I have her last set of dolls and the elastic is working well enough, and no creaking as with springs. The small dolls have very small channels so maybe springs would fit in the larger dolls.

I have loved all the pics I have seen Polina, they are truly so vivid. Your painting is truly exceptional. I have no real preference with springs or elastic. If the doll is well engineered I find the posing is good either way.

I confess, I just LOVE Luna. She is so pretty. How big are the "big" girls? I usually prefer the smaller ones. Harder to sew for, but easier to display.

Did anyone here buy one of Polina's new girls? I would have loved Tanisha, but she was already sold. And, I have another layaway to pay off first. LOVE Luna, but I'm not in a position to invest that much at this time as much as I'd love to. Need to Pay bills and save for a home first. Ugh, adult responsibilities are not fun. Haha. I'm just really hoping to see more of them and to also hear about how they move and pose. Polina is one of my favorite doll artists and I enjoy seeing her work evolve. How awesome it'd be to attend the Art of Doll exhibition in Moscow. Sigh. Maybe one day!
