Hello all, I just purchased a new (to me) doll off Ebay. She is a Paper White Doll with ballet feet. After seeing all the beauties on this forum I couldn't help myself. My package arrived this morning all the way from Australia. And I couldn't wait to tear into it. She was very well packed and I had to dig for buried treasure. This is the box she came in. Here she is. I got a bit excited and forgot to take a pick of her with her bubble wrappings on... She also has a COA, and ballet shoes. This is her with her wig on. I had some ED sized clothes that I made and it fits well enough...her bum is a bit bigger. This dress will work until I can make her something of her own. I'll have to make her something with more colour. The ivory is washing her out... And this is her in a fancy little cabinet on my mantle. The cabinet was supposed to be for a tall candle but I thought it would work better for a doll.

I'm still trying to think up a name for her. If you have any suggestions, please feel free to let me know... Thanks

Wow, she is so beautiful!! I think I met this girl when I visited Teri to pick up Alina! flic.kr/p/hrSWboSo she is another one of Alina's sisters! <3 I love her green eyes and dark, smooth wig. She looks very cool in your lantern! I can't think of a name right now but I'll give it some thought. Do you know what name Teri gave her? She often names her dolls. Alina's given name was Paloma.

Allurose- If she had a name it wasn't added in her paperwork. She was labeled as "custom ballerina". She didn't come with a dress but has the cutest ballet shoes. She does look like the doll in the picture. Maybe the dress was sold separately. I like to sew though so I'm not worried about making her some clothes. I'm glad she has family in the forum. I'll be sure to post more pics once she has clothes of her own.

I remember when I photographed her Teri said she was already spoken for. So I didn't play with her, just looked. And yes, the dress was for sale separately. Actually I think it is the one owned by Melissa now? If she was custom she might not have had a name. She looks like an Irish name would suit her to me. Like Aisling? I think that's Irish...

Does she have both ballet feet and flat feet?

She just has ballet feet. I may try to contact Teri and see if I could order flat or geta feet as well. I like Irish names... one of my Resin BJDs is named Seamus. Aisling is cute. I'll add it to the list. I was also thinking Maeve. The lady I bought her from in Australia was named Polly, if that helps...I don't know Melissa, unless she goes by a different forum name.

Sorry, I should have said bibarina! My girls have both feet and I like the versatility. Alisha also has a few different hands. I like Maeve too. We have many Paperwhites on the forum now! <3

I am so pleased she has gone to a good home- I looked and looked and was so tempted to bid on her (but I am saving for another doll) and really hoped she would find her way to the forum if I didn't purchase her, and she has- Yay!!!! She is Odette's sister (my Paperwhite) too!! Congratulations! And yes, it is me (Melissa) who has the ballerina costume that was originally hers! Teri included it with Odette which was a wonderful surprise!!

Bibarina- Sorry I didn't know your real name so I was a bit confused. Yay! I like that my doll has so many Sisters here, too. I want to make clothes for her, but I am trying to work on the ED contest, so I am in tattoo designing mode right now. All I have decided is that it'll have to have some colour. White isn't the best on her. I saw an adorable skirt online that was super fluffy in back like a petticoat, maybe I'll try something like that.
Allurose- I think the little geta (japanese sandals) that Teri made are adorable. I may see if I can get the geta and the feet that go with them if she is willing. I'll have to send her an email and see. I also looked at your Pics of Alisha and Alina and I love the ones in the forest by the like creek. We have a few places like that up here in Canada near where I live. I may have to try taking some pretty outdoor shots too, but not till it's warmer.

Congratulations, she's such a very pretty doll and I love her warm coloring. Paperwhite doll's faces remind me of one of the Sybarite face sculpts, except in a smaller version( Sybs have huge heads).
