I'm Barb in MA on several doll boards. My doll family is mainly Volks and Marmite Sue Resin dolls. I don't have a porcelain doll yet, but I love looking at all the dolls on this board. I'm Lisianthus on DOA and Silkthread on another, as I have a serious yarn addiction and on rare occasion will knit for my dolls from silk cobweb yarn or thread. It depends on how my knitting hands feel for tiny needles and thread.Lately they might be feeling my age. Also, I adore cats, so I my favorite would be cats, dolls and yarn in any order. - Barb

Welcome Barb! I would love to see some pictures of your knitting, I used to knit for my dolls too - and if one of your kitties happens to be in the picture too, that's even better!

Thank you for welcoming me, bibarina, bobo and Snegurochka. Snegurochka, did you knit the lovely blue sweater on your avatar doll? It is a beautiful shade of blue, and looks as a perfect fit. I think this pictures will work. One is a Super dollfie size sweater. I'm not certain if more then one photo is allowed in this thread so please let me know and I'll delete one. The marmite sue resin doll is wearing a knit fringed shawl.

Hi Barb, glad to see you. How has doll club been? I see you continue to make lovely knitted clothes. Hi Fitz, I'm going to try to get there today. I've missed most of the meetings this winter, but it is the same, a nice relaxing time and I take the slow roads to get there. It might be the best I do for a mini road trip. I wish I could sew though, more than an occasional button on a sweater. - Barb

I love your knitting! It looks delicate and soft <3 Thank you kamia. It is mostly about the yarns, they sort of define what they want to be knit in to. You have the cutest kitty picture for your avatar! - Barb

Yes, love your pink sweater! Looks great on Luna! Thank you Bobo! And you recognized Luna! I tried to get a different pic from flickr or a link to my flickr page but I'll have to wait until my daughter is here to help me. I was able to get these two from my dollpage though.

Your knitting is beautiful! - I especially like your lovely shawl.. do you take commissions? Thank you! I do sometimes. it depends if I have a doll of similiar size for a model and the yarns. I'm not a fast knitter though.

That shawl is so delicate, I love it. We don't have photo limits anywhere yet. It's a small forum, so we won't run into those kind of bandwidth issues for a while. Welcome, welcome, welcome to the forum! I love your icon, is that your cat? Such a stuffy, adorable face.

When he is happy and newly groomed he looks like that. He is almost 10 now, the photo was from a few years ago when the er vet gave him a free lion cut. . I think he was giving the happy face because he was safe back at home.
