Hello. I joined in November, but never really introduced myself. I am a creater, collector, and lover of dolls of all kinds and I have been for most of my life. I am also a Teddy Bear artist. I have been in love with BJDs since 2008, and have a amassed collection of resin dolls, and dabbled in creating my own BJD. Here is a link to my flicker album for my "Gray Girl" my first BJD attempt from 2010. www.flickr.com/photos/32760694@N03/albums/72157623440692218I have made a few fixed pose figures, but I have yet to actually finish a BJD (Gray Girl is as finished as she is going to be), though I hope this is the year. I have been inspired by many talented artists to look into porcelain as a medium for BJD and have come here to learn.

Welcome tamie! Funny how collecting one type of doll leads to another, isn't it? I'd love to see what you create.

Hi Tamie. So glad you introduced yourself. I'm more of a reader than a poster, hehe, but this is such a fun board. It's so dangerous though. One post here can launch you into the deep space of the doll galaxy! So many talented artists. Can't wait to see what you share.

Thank you for the welcome! I have added a link to my original post with a link to the flickr album with my first BJD attempt. I will start a progress thread for the new one soon!
