Thank you so much for sharing these work in progress photos, it is so interesting to see how these porcelain beauties come to life. They are going to be gorgeous! I love what I have seen so far, and I am really looking forward to seeing more! I am fascinated to see what the hands look like when they are put together too.

Thank you very much Ivdolls, I can't wait for this moment too, but it will take me awhile to put this girls together. I have some problems of warping parts after big firing, parts like this goes straight to the garbage. I find very difficult to make this big dolls ( they was nasty from the beggining).I can even say they are pain in the ..... Oh yes, they are. But they are also very cute, my sweet babies. The head with blue eyes has open mouth and tiny teeth. The feet like this is very difficult to make, when I am taking parts from the mold I sculping every toe by hand, cutting between each toe, streching each one the way I want it, to make feet like this take me more then 1 hour. I am also using wet brush for this, they feel so real, because they move, I need to take video some day to show you this, very creepy. Sometimes I having a goosebumps because of this realistic feachers. Things like this also happening to me when I painting the heads. Oh, my sweet working, plastic table..... I "Love" it so so much... I have big room in the bacement for my working studio, where I want to work, but now it just a big dream, because it take forever to finish, we doing huge renovation just me and my husband. Removing walls, puting right insulation, take the carpet out, need to make floor, put tile and other messy, dirty work like this. I can't wait to have my own space for my work.

Larisa, sounds like you are VERY busy, and not only with dolls but with house work as well. I can not imagine how you find time to do the dolls, but they well worth it, just to see how they being "born". Your hard and dedicated work is paying off, everything looks great and detailed, and those feet and toes look so realistic.

Thank you very much Ivdolls!!!!
Maybe she will have some more layers maybe not, depends what kind result I will have tomorrow. Usually I am doing 5-6 firings for China painting ( each one is 3.12 hours long), it's meen the heads was in the kiln 16 hours, and this is just for paintings. Plus first fire and final fire, it's a lot. I am afraid of my electric bill, it will be very hight. Ohhhhhhh.......
