Yes, I like this color for her! I don't know about wigs unfortunately, but others do...

Wow, the dark colours really do look amazing on her. Maybe a light conditioner spray? I use an Aussie conditioner spray on mine and just comb it through gently... But I'm not 100% and keep it away from the wig cap of course if you used glue that is not water proof But maybe someone with more experience can give advice? <3

Thank you Allurose!
And I might try that Kamia! I havn't ever even used a conditioner spray on my own hair.. is it something you use wet or dry? I was considering getting the entire wig wet (not the cap) and then putting a fingernail of mousse through it, but I'm unsure how much product I want to put into the mohair and how it will effect it.

I would not recommend getting it all wet, perhaps use a misting spray for moisture? The conditioner spray I use can be on wet or dry hair and then just let it dry. I would recommend using it on dry hair and then combing gently. Do you get Aussie hair products where you are? If you do, you should try one of theirs, such as 'miracle moist' (they smell amazing too)!

The wig seems to have 'settled' a bit over the last day or so, or maybe I am just getting used to it! Either way I snapped another pic of her last night against a nice patterned background IMG_0583 by Tovah Goldfine, on Flickr

Oh she is so lovely! I agree the dark wig suits her.
As for fluffiness- a lot of that has to do with the kind of fiber you are using.
Fabric softener can do a lot to tame and soften the fibers.

unnamed by Tovah Goldfine, on Flickr Today I made a little bralette and panty for Octavia, and I fixed her wig which had either shrunk or dried badly and showed the insides. I fixed it by adding a row of hair around the inside, but this has made it extra thick! Which is okay, but it is very poofy now

Octavia is so pretty, and she has such dainty little hands. I like the outfit you made for her. She looks very proud to be wearing it.
