I am so in love with this beautiful couple, I could not choose between and I'm so happy I bought both, in my opinion they belong together
It was their expressive faces that first attracted my attention because they say so much without speaking.
I did not expect such high quality dolls and was very surprised when they arrived -
The porcelain is solid, wonderful smooth and cool, the painting is subtle and so perfect. Posing is lovely.
The sculpts alone are amazing- I love the long slender bodies, the dainty feet, and those fabulously realistic hands!
The wigs are lovely, so soft, and they fit well, they are excellent style for the characters
I love the way Etu and Eyota are similar, they are so proud. Etu is handsome, alert, reliable, and caring. Eyota is a stong woman, but dainty.
Etu and Eyota are not elaborate dolls, the beautiy is in the simplicity of the sculpts. I love the way the light catches the line of their bodies.
Artists today are producing incredible porcelain dolls these days - elaborately engraved and tattooed, decorated with precious metals and stones, and they are wonderful dolls.I own some myself ! I have the greatest of admiration for these artists - but there is art in the basics too. A sculpt without embellishment speaks for itself and can say a thousand words.
Sofia's dolls are exquisite.
I'll just mention too that Sofia is an absolute pleasure to deal with and I highly recommend her and her work.
