Wow, BiDoll Lithe is FINALLY on eBay!!!! They are absolute and utter PERFECTION!!!! These glorious new girls do not disappoint!!!! A Ball jointed, porcelain art doll. Limited edition. 2016. The character will never be repeated: hairstyles, outfit, doll's faceup. She is OOAK. MonokeRos is made and sold by the artist Rafael Nuri of BiDoll. The dolls in this line possess a different type of sexuality, they look tall and skinny. The name BiDoll consists of two parts. Bi translated from Latin means “two” or “double”. When I worked on Lithe characters the double meaning inspired me. I wanted to create two dolls that are different and the same at once. The unicorn, the legendary and magical creature, also inspired me. MonokeRos is one of the names for unicorn that people used from ancient times. It sounded to me that the name consists of two - Monoke and Ros, and I decided to give these names to my new dolls. At the very beginning my goal was to create a complex costumed doll using different techniques such as jewelry making, embroidery, etc. I believe that my goal is accomplished. The costume is very complicated and the embroidery was done over the tiny mesh fabric. Over 100 hours of work was spent on embroidery only. The corset, shoes and the crown are made from metal and gold plated with 18K gold. BiDoll Lithe MonokeRos is a piece of art that made in porcelain, painted with China paints, it comprises the jewelry making and fashion design techniques. MonokeRos is a synthesis of many arts and designs in one object. I am very happy that I could use all my skills in one work and show many sides in the art of making a doll.

Oh my goodness, they are beautiful and so elegant! I know a lot of people have been waiting for the auction of BiDoll Lite.
Those hands are amazing, the costumes fabulous, but it's the shape of their legs that attracts me most!

Well according to Rafael's FaceBook pagay eBay deactivated the listing due to heavy traffic^^ They are working on fixing the issue, so I would imagine the listing should be up and running again sometime later today..... I can't wait to put my bid in.... Though if I win I don't know how I'll decide between these two beauties :-o

Costumes and paintwork look great but I wish there was a picture of the doll nude, especially since this is a new body.

what happened? the auction has disappeared again!! The eBay security locked an auction this time because Yana logged in from her laptop while she was in Chicago. The eBay thought someone trying to get onto her account and locked the auction. I think this is ridiculous. I've never heard of such security system before. Yana will open another auction on Saturday, when she is back home. |
