Thank you kamia I have been testing out a few different shades from ultra chic, I am trying to settle on 2 favorites. I have found that working with a lot of different shades at one time can get confusing and time consuming. I have a local supplier, but their porcelain has impurities that only emerge after the China paint low fire. I love Ultra Chic because their product is so pure. It has a greater shrinkage rate and tends to be very delicate and fragile when it comes out of the mold, but it is worth it in the long run.

Very pretty together! I love the fashion you do, it's sooo hard to sew that small! I agree with Kamia, it is a beautiful skin color, they just glow! What ultra chic color is it? I wish I could afford to get a gallon of every color, hehe.

Thank you @earthshine Doll !!!! <3 I love your girls too, they have such great faces, they are very unique. I used rose dawn on the doll with dark hair, and I used bjd 4 on the doll with white hair. I am currently working on a doll made from soft champagne, I will hopefully be able to post pictures soon. I love bjd 4, it comes out of the mold beautifully and it looks so fantastic with blushing. I was using bjd 3 as a lighter skin tone, but I had a lot of problems with it. I don't know if it was a bad batch or if it is just not a good formula. It would crack in the mold and slump and warp badly in the kiln. Rose dawn is very nice and I am going to decide between it and soft champagne for my lighter skin tone. I also wish I could afford to sample all of them, you can purchase pints, but the shipping is so costly no matter what.

Oh thank you Randi! Thanks for the color info! It's so hard to compare colors from the site, it's nice to see it on an actual doll. I'll have to try the bjd 4, I do love that color! I've used alabaster white and Parisian bisque for my tan girl. On the site the colors look almost exactly alike, but they are waaay different. I have had some warping issues with the alabaster. I got a pint of warm brown and french cream, but wasn't in love with either of them. The soft champagne looks lovely tho! Can't wait to see that. I am ALL OUT of slip now and need to order more, eek! You're right, the shipping is so costly!...I might need to vacation close to their warehouse and stock up! haha!
