Hello everybody :-) a short while ago I purchased dark Monah from ivdolls done by the artist Tatiana Tofaneto. From the first second I saw this girl she reminded me of Bella Swan from the Twilight-Books. In the movies she is portrayed by Kristen Stewart but reading the books I had a different picture from Bella in my mind and THIS doll is pretty near my imagination :-) She wears the Bella-Tonner-clothes but they don't fit her 100%. The shirt is a little bit too big and the pants are even more too big but you don't see it so much in the pictures. I wrote to Tatiana Tofaneto and she was so kind to agree to make a few things for my little Bella: A more suitable wig, a jeans and boots :-) When these things are done and with me I will make another bunch of pics ;-) Bella Swan by Diana Hinkelmann, auf Flickr Bella Swan by Diana Hinkelmann, auf Flickr Bella Swan by Diana Hinkelmann, auf Flickr

Oh yes, I agreed she is well suited to being Bella! Thank you :-) I am very happy that I found a porcelain-doll that matches so well. The Tonner dolls are not bad but I don't like plastic so much...

Orchidee, yes, this is such a good Bella! You could make those clothes little bit smaller to fit better? And yes, plastic dolls feel quite boring after resin (yes, I know, resin is plastic too ) and porcelain dolls. And the factory make up in mass product dolls are just awful! The quality of Tonner doll make up has gone down in few years, that is one reason I don't want to buy them anymore even though they do have some dolls I would like to get.

Congrats on the new arrival, I love her delicate expressive hands. Thank you kamia :-) Yes her hands are wonderful and her manicure is absolutely perfect. I always wonder how artists do that as they are so tiny :-)

I am not a very good sewer but maybe I will ask my father. He is the best sewer in the family (he was in the navy and they had to tend for their clothes for themself there ;-)) Yes, I noticed too that the quality of the make up gets worse each year... That is really sad as their prices DON'T go down...
