I will say I LOVE the Moonglass bodies- the feel is so nice. And there is something nice about knowing that your doll will never yellow, and the paint will never rub off... I think the only thing I don't love is maybe the knee joint. I have another doll coming in shell so I'm very keen to see what the difference is.
But I do see your quandry- the Butterfly body and joints are soooooo gorgeous! I would have ordered her in Moonglass or shell if I could have- she is close to the cost of porcelain if you get all the extra painting and painted eyes- but really amazing.

I just got my Alice in shell- she is absolutely gorgeous! Once again, the box presentation is really beautiful. I looooove the details on this girl- the subtle coloring is really impressive. SO worth the wait! I guess she isn't really an "Angel Egg" (since I think that is the name Eli uses for her resin line) but I didn't see a thread for Eli's Menagerie porcelains, so I'll add her here anyway

Oh wow, the accessory order just came out! I am dying as loved literally EVERYTHING, but could only afford a few pieces even after several months of selling fashion dolls (I've been saving up). The agony!
