Good afternoon everyone!
To not increase the amount of threads from my side, I decided to create a single thread dedicated to dolls I made to order (in contrast to collections).
So, every new custom tailored girl created by me will be presented here
And today I'm glad to show you Irina (Redhead) which I made in December, 2016.
As usual, the character of the doll is based on some cultural and art traditions. This time I turned to "Parisian chic" style which is very romantic and feminine))) I hope, I will tell you more about this style and my concept a little bit later. While today I would like to speak about my customers-collectors more)
So, Irina.
I have an old tradition: if an owner of my new doll doesn't have a name for her, I name the newborn after it's new mother.
Pretty often I do not know the customer personally, sometimes I see his/her face in social networks or emails. And I noticed one mysterious thing: somehow dolls reproduce a little part of their masters' soul...
And even if there are no obvious similarities at the first sight, like for example the owner is a serious business lady or a hipster queen - the inner light shines through, and with it you can see a person inside. Suddenly hipster queen picks a doll with smart, calm blue eyes and a bob cut, and business lady is jumping happily having a tender teenager doll with eyes wide open and long hair.
And I see that the doll becomes the part of these wonderful women’s' personality.
Irina's new mom is a bright and expressive girl with open heart. Sometimes you cannot see how someone's soul is fragile behind his expressiveness. But I can see it. I think Irina is a delicate, intellectual and sexy. This is what kind of doll was born 🙂
