Good afternoon everyone! Some of you, probably, are already following me in social networks. Though, for those who don’t, I should tell you I observe pretty interesting situation now. Three customers independently chose ginger girls of my production. Thus, it's a REDHEADS time in my studio these weeks!! This time I am making photos of every layer (and hopefully, will share the whole process – step by step – in the end). One thing I always tell to my students: you ALWAYS need to learn while working with porcelain. It makes them sad but it's true: every new doll is a step up. I can feel it by myself. And I like it!
Sharing with you some work-in-progress photographs
I have someone here getting alive Second layer of paint is done
The third firing done
Both lovely & creepy - it's always so, when l choose the eyes))
Just a small note about one of my girls. Actually, this note is here because I don’t know where to place it... She is nor made to order doll, neither made for a collection. She is just Lily looking for her home I wrote all the details about her in marketplace.
Here I would like to say that Lily is 2 year old, the bigger part of this time she was living in one small and very cozy gallery. Now I believe, it’s time for her to settle down! P.S. It's definitely time of redheads! )
Oh wow, I love seeing the work in progress shots. It always brings me closer to the artist and the end products. Your younger girl is so sweet! I hadn't seen this style from you before Funny they are all redheads!! I think it is the beautiful freckle and skin work you do.
kamia Many thanks! And I always glad to share pictures of the process because it often shows what a big and creative job it is My younger girl found home! One nice young man bought her as a gift for his lady for Valentin's day It'is so touching and sweet)) This younger girl is from another my mold - Sweetest Perfection, I started from work on such girls several years ago. And yes, it's a very interesting coincidence that I have 4 redhead girls in a row
Good evening to everyone! I don't have many words to share today (I'm making photographs in my studio and sick a little in addition) but I have pictures. Another girl is almost ready to go to her new home. As for me, it seems I fell in love with her and will be missing ...
Dina, a redhead gentle girl ...
P.S. My congratulations to all of you with an upcoming spring !! Let it'll be more sun and warmth in our lives!
Dina, you will be blown away when you open that box - photos of Olga's dolls are fabulous but no photo in the world can do these dolls justice, they are alive!! Congratulations, can't wait to see her in your hands !!
