After eight years of waiting, my first porcelain ball-jointed doll is no longer a dream! She arrived at the end of January 2017 - I do not have a name for her yet, but the sculpt is called Blue Anemone.
The box containing the doll was well packed in layers and layers of bubble wrap, it took me a few minutes of digging to get to it...
The doll was very secure within the box...
And here she is in all her glory! I was so happy and flustered that I did not realize I had put on her dress backwards...
I will have to organize a proper photo shoot for her because all I have are hastily taken photos
She photographs amazingly well.
I have already had a nightmare in which her delicate fingers had snapped off and I stuck them back together with duct tape. It was an awful dream.
