Olesiida Dolls I can't find these dolls anywhere except flickr, so I may be wrong about the name - maybe someone from the Russian community will recognise this artist and her work? I can't find measurements of anything either :s

These dolls are so pretty!! I just found them on flickr too. This picture pulls right at my heartstrings for some reason: flic.kr/p/jASCn4She obviously has a lot of talent. I hope someone can help find more information! I'll be sending her a flickr mail invite at some point too.

What interesting hips! And, this is the first instance that I can say I think that cutting the torso right under the breast looks appealing to me. Usually I find that cut to be off putting for some reason.

Oh, I really like these dolls as well. And I LOVE the idea of the hip joints being attached to the torso. That can look really beautiful link in this photo here. It looks like you have the full range of motion with it as well. I wonder if the legs can touch the chest with that joint. I'd love to see THAT range of motion without the separate hip joint.

Yeah, me too - I like the look of it! But, I don't think you could do knees to chest with it, without another piece, to allow for more than 90 degrees range. I would love to see a doll that can do that pose without spoiling the lines of the tummy and hips... I keep trying to sketch a way to do it, but have yet to hit upon something!

I have six resin dolls with that kind of joint (Lillycat Cerisedolls) and I just checked: knees can not touch the chest. It would need the extra mobility joint. But the legs have a nice range of motion, I really like that style.

It looks like it may not be able to go side ways with that type of joint unless a slit was made in that direction
