Hello everyone,
I am Ekaterina Chasovskikh - a Russian Porcelain BJDs Artist based in Germany. As I wrote in the introduction to my Website, I am happy now, 'cause I can live my dream - making beautiful porcelain ball-jointed dolls.
I started making the dolls around 2015. Everything began couple of years earlier with coming across with the images of the stunning Enchanted Dolls by Marina Bychkova. I fell in love with them immediately! I wanted to have one! But because at that time it was next to impossible to have one of these beauties, I thought of trying to make one by myself..If I only knew the looong way before me
I love everything about this art of making porcelain dolls, that combine all kinds of craft imaginable, all the hard work and hundreds of hours spent, all the success and all the hardships on the way to the moment, when the doll is finally completed and you hold it in your hands, look at her and she is looking back to you - her creator! This moment of satisfaction is overwhelming.
