OMG I saw this girl during construction and just had to have her .. now my 3rd doll from Randi aka Tiny Shirt. I rush to open the boxes immediately so never pause to pull out the camera for a nice slow opening .. its a tear into moment for me every single time. This lovely Peach sculpt arrived just as tradies were leaving my kitchen so she posed in front of my colorful splash-back for her first breathe of air in Australia. Check out this amazing face, plus her little foxy friend. Her name is Kimba. So many more photos to follow!!!!! Kimba arrives by Dina, on Flickr OK so I'm gonna do photo spam ... cause she's awesome, everyone else does, I'm excited and she's definately one of the more photogenic dolls. Kimba in Australia by Dina, on Flickr Kimba in Australia by Dina, on Flickr OK last one .. until the weekend. Poor thing, I'm torturing her and she's starting to look a little apprehensive sitting in a garden with deadly spiders and who knows what else. But yanno, thats life in Australia. Kyeema was the first to arrive that evening to meet Kimba; she knew of Peach but to suddenly find she had a half-sister was unexpected. Clearly the similarities were there but also differences ... Kyeema was more worried how her Cloud sister Kalina was going to react. Kyeema and Kimba meet by Dina, on Flickr

Looking apprehensive? I think she is beginning to look very annoyed with you! How could you be so cruel Dina, that poor little girl has spent so many hours travelling and you are tiring her out, LOL.
She is just gorgeous, I especially love that face and those freckles all over her little face and body. Definitely a natural redhead. Randi's dolls are very special, they have that wonderful earthy quality, and despite the huge joints ( which I really like) that mark them out as dolls rather than tiny people, they are very much alive and full of soul.
I hope little Peach is enjoying the weather is Australia, the Fabulous Plum Twins are complaining about the cold and damp here.

Yes pianissimo she was rather annoyed by the time we went to bed, but was really obliging You explain Randi's amazing dolls so well, not only the earthiness but their soulfulness. Kimba is my 3rd from her and it never ceases to amaze me the very clever aesthetic. Randi is clearly a potter before being a doll maker and her dolls are like finding 70's bohemian clay sculptures, and they have this weird gangling elastic that works, suits and holds surprisingly great poses.

She is just so lovely! I have to agree, I do not have the time to take pictures when opening up a new doll - I just have to go for it! I think many unboxing photos are staged - after the initial excitement has gone!! She looks great with Kyeema too. We need all three together!
