Hi all, I'm Jayne. I seem to know most of you from other forums (big wave). I've been a fan of Marina Bychkova's dolls since 2006, when they were around $650 (yes, you read that right), and I didn't buy one Hindsight is a wonderful quality. I currently own a resin ED and Cherry by the Popovy Sisters. I'm eagerly waiting for Nifer by BJTales to arrive. I've always made stuff of all kinds and have been working on some dolls of my own for a few years (the past 2 years have been a non starter due to aged family problems). Hopefully, I can get more done now. Anyway, thank you Allurose for starting this forum up, it looks wonderful so far. Huge hugs, Jayne xxx

There do seem to be a lot of us who had an opportunity to purchase an ED and failed to do so for some reason. ) Sometimes the timing is just not right. I wonder if the PDSis will ever decide to make a porcelain edition. I do love their aesthetic and have Blue Jay and Bony & hope to get a Little Owl soon, though I would love a porcelain. Also have an RED.

I think there are porcelain popovy dolls already aren't they? Although I am sure they are harder to get and much more expensive.

I don't know if the porcelain PD are also BJD. I think the Sisters made porcelain art dolls but not sure if they were ball-jointed.
