Thank you annina! I didn't like the serious expression at first. I even asked Teri if it was possible to do a smile instead. But now I like it, SO much. I wouldn't change either of them!

I agree allurose- I love their expression too- it really grows on you. I like the pure lines and simplicity of Paperwhites- I think they are truly unique. I haven't spent as much time on Odette as I would like- mainly due to my poor photographic skill- when I can take some good photographs of her without her looking 'washed out' I will share more!

I find they take better photos in lighting with shadows (one light source instead of two) if that helps. Then you can see the contours of the sculpt better. Would love to see more pics of your girl!

The wig looks fabulous on her! Really sets off her facial features beautifully, her eyes and lips pop. Love the first photo!

Thank you sutton! I agree, the straight line of the bangs is very flattering on her. Sometime soon I will put some makeup on her and then we shall really see her glam!

She looks like a star! I feel a back story coming on lol! I really love the black and white photos- I never would have thought they were bad shots at all, so there is a silver lining in every cloud as they say! And the window light shots are great. Your white balance is good in these- I just can't get the hang of it, and often my photos come out really blue which is so annoying when what I am seeing is soooo different!

On my Flickr there is one more snow shot and you can see the white balance is strange, a bit pink no matter what I did. I don't know if I want much in the way of backstory for my Paperwhites...I feel like it would limit their versatility maybe? I'm not sure if that makes sense. Alisha used to have a backstory, but I found that it wasn't important to me anymore after a while. I used to have a terrible time with white balance until I learned how to set the custom white balance on my camera. Now I just set it before a photoshoot and it helps a lot! I used the white snow seen through the window to balance the window light shots. But when I was outside the snow TOO bright to set the balance properly, even on that cloudy day. I also fix white balance in Photoshop Elements for every photo. It is very easy and makes a big difference. I think it's the most satisfying thing to edit. Do you use a photo editing program?

I do use a very basic one occasionally. I actually have lightroom on my computer- but don't have a clue how to use it properly- the manual is so big so far I haven't been able to really spend the time learning it- it's on my never ending 'to do list'! But I do know it would help if I could get the white balance sorted out so that's a good starting point! Thank you for the advice- when I get some time I will try and work out how to manually set it on my camera.

I've only just started to use Lightroom myself. Nessa says it is very good. We shall see how long it takes to learn...

That new wig is lovely on Alina! It really showcases her features. And I really love the black and white shots - I couldn't tell there was anything wrong with them, I thought you did them that way on purpose! They have a nice mood to them, very pretty. I enjoyed seeing all of them ^_^
