I felt like sharing Iðunn, my Enchanted Doll Bianca with you even before I will share the box openings of all my dolls in the other section at a later time. Here she is: She is Bianca #1: An old photo of me holding her: Some might not know, she is designed to be a butterfly, I plan to make her moth wings as one of her incarnations in my mind is a moth-girl: She has even been painted by my wonderfully talented friend Amarilli: And she owns a Banshee crown in bronze by Marina: My husband Calle has made her a throne: I love her in a hood: or nude: or in an elaborate costume by Monika from Orchids Designs: And you can find all 1003 photos and 3 videos of her in her flickr album: Iðunn on flickrThank you for looking ♥

She's gorgeous, I always enjoy seeing photos of her! Looks like you've got some really neat accessories for her too (I am especially loving the painting of her). ^-^

She is gorgeous of course, and it's nice to see how spoiled she is. The moth wings sound really cool! How will you make them?

Thank you so much all of you! ♥ Allurose, I am thinking they will be kind of mixed media, mostly cloth that I will sew to a wire which will be the "skeleton" of the wings and the ends of that wire will be what goes into the attachment, which is two metal tubes. I want the wings to have some texture and be nice to touch so it will all depend on finding scraps of different kind of textiles. Mind you, I've had this plan for years so I can't say when it will actually happen, but I will be sure to post about it when it does! One photo that did make Iðunn look moth-like was this: I love these colours on her and will go in a similar direction with her wings! Oh and here is the close-up of her face I once took, her lashes make me think of a moth too:

Annina, you're so lucky to own that beautiful Bianca! She looks amazing, and the photos you took are a great added value! ^^ It's the first time I'm actually able to tell Marina's strokes thanks to that closeup: so much mastery!

One of the first dolls Marina ever made! 2007! I've enjoyed watching your journey with your precious Idunn. If ever a doll was a part of a person's soul, she surely is a part of yours! You truly were meant for each other.

I have looked at your Flickr photos, "annina". You have some amazing dolls. Don't think I will ever have the chance to own a porcelain ED now, but love seeing what others do with theirs. She will make a beautiful butterfly/moth. The crown is amazing and so are the fur hat & coat. Congratulations on sharing your life with such a beautiful girl.
