One of the most prized dolls in my collection is this exquisite OOAK creation called "Swan Girl" by the artist Seo from Marie's Garden. I was very lucky when I got her, as not many people in the West knew of her. Since then she received requests to make other swan girls, and she released a line of colour-variations, with each being a different colour (pink, grey, black, etc...) She's a very precious doll, and I've never fully un-dressed her, thinking her fantastic costume is perfect as is.... she lives under a beautiful glass dome <3

Wow, she's really cute! I have never seen this artist's work before. In a way, her face reminds me of an antique doll. Very cool

Oh this doll is so fantastically wonderful! How lucky you are to have one of her dolls! I follow her on flickr but she has not done much lately, I think she's concentrating on her children? I just hope she starts up again some day. She also made a gorgeous sleeping doll I'd love to have as well!

Beautiful! She immediately reminded me of a French artist/illustrator whose universe is similar to hers. You can see some of his work...here: vimeo.com/76715398

The quality and beauty of this doll immediately brings to mind the finest French dolls from the Golden Age of doll making in the1880s from firms like Bru, Steiner and Jumeau. It is wonderfully designed and executed.
I find it incredibly exciting that we are having this renaissance in porcelain doll making right now from so many new and varied artists.. Allurose, you sure were in the right place at the right time!

Hello Lazhielle,
She hasn't been making many new dolls recently. She is most active on her instagram account (hellomarie) but is also on flickr, and facebook.

Thank you for the info. It seems her instagram doesn't have any photos except one video. I am wondering though, what is the price range for this style doll? To see if her doll is actually within my budget.

Looking at the instagram, she does have quite a few versions of this mold. Very different idea. The swan head reminds me of Bjork's famous dress. I really like the toeless boots/ spats. I love the display picture with all the dolls. I have got to find a way to display mine in an organized fashion.

Thanks orchid designs! I had my friend contact her and it turns out she is out of my price range T.T her new doll is within my price range but I am not in love with it like the very stylized face. Oh well I guess it is not in my cards
