Polina Myalovskaya WebsiteFlickr ShopDoll Lines: Totem Series, The Birds, Movie Characters Height: 29cm "Vivid Dolls are author’s collection ball-jointed dolls, hand-made completely. They are made of porcelain and drawn with overglaze paints, which are burnt at a very high temperature and that keeps the colours strong. The creating process is very long and difficult. All the details are founded, worked on and painted manually. That’s why every doll is individual and there will never be two same dolls. There are 18-20 articulation points which allow Vivid Dolls to strike practically all the human poses. I try to work on all the joints very thoroughly so that they fit the human anatomy."

Meet my girl, Cameron, of the Totem series. When I saw Polina's dolls for the first time, I HAD to have one and I was fortunate to find them just before the last doll sold, which is how I got Cameron. Such high quality and the artist is very nice and friendly as well!

I am in love with the new series, the Birds! But this in progress doll, Juliette, is my favorite: flic.kr/p/oukuTDAlso an FYI for you all on the forum, Cameron and Nessa's other dolls are featured in various icons and the banner on the forum since we are IRL friends and I had permission to use the photos. Also...those SHOES!

I didn't know these dolls so I had a look at her site. The dolls in the coming soon section look quite promising. Thanks for showing yours here.

Prices are a little tricky to come by, since she seems to release her dolls in large batches once every great while. Also, exchange rates for rubles makes the price fluctuate. Her previous doll prices may not be representative of what the next collection will cost, but after exchange rates, shipping, and everything else, Cameron was around $1500 USD. Polina accepted Moneygram for purchase, which added a hefty fee. Also, shoes:

Her work is beautiful. I love the faces of her dolls.

Beautiful dolls! The faces remind me of the Disney style somehow, in the best possible way. I could definitely see myself with one of these, look forward to seeing what she comes up with next!

I love how she executed the shoes! But if she actually made the heel flush to the front of the shoe, with a little detail of the heel in the middle, I think I would crazy over that! Simple with a different appeal I believe.
