DEADLINE: March 1st, 2015
PRIZES:
1. A doll jewelry piece of your choice made by me, Tiny Jewels Shop.
Usually I only offer my simpler designs as prizes or gifts, so this is an amazing opportunity to choose from any of my designs! You can also suggest your own design. I can make jewelry for any size of doll. Please allow several weeks working time, depending on the complexity of the design.
Here are some examples of my work:
More on Flickr ~ More on Etsy
2. A piece of handmade porcelain jewelry for yourself created by Hansel, a skilled sculptor and doll artist from the forum!
You may choose a face, hand, foot, or other small body part to be transformed into a necklace or brooch. This is an amazing opportunity to win a piece of porcelain art! Please allow 6-8 weeks working time as the piece will need to be cast in porcelain and fired multiple times.
Here are some examples of parts that could be made into jewelry:
My little Prince by Hasel-Anne, on Flickr
Flower feet by Hasel-Anne, on Flickr
Lying on roses by Hasel-Anne, on Flickr
JUDGING:
We will check that the banners follow the rules and them post them all here about one week after the deadline.
Forum members will have two weeks to vote on their favorite design using a poll. We will ask members to judge based on the quality of the photo and the aesthetics of the banner, not just the beauty of the doll.
The first place winner will have the privilege of choosing between the prizes for the one they desire the most. The second place winner will choose between remaining prizes, and so on until all the prizes are claimed. Winners may also decline to receive a prize if they are participating just for fun.
After the contest is over, we mods will select between the entries to give variety to our rotating banners. We will choose one banner for each doll artist so all doll artists can have equal exposure on the forum. So even if you don't win a prize, you are likely to have the satisfaction of seeing your banner displayed!
<3 Good luck. <3
