About the Quality of Service (rate 1-3, explain any 1s or 2s) 3
I can't imagine better customer service.
Clear photos? 3
Teri takes BEAUTIFUL photos.
Easy to pay? 3
Paypal
Good communication? 3
We communicated via email for 5 months while I decided whether or not I would buy, and then when we discussed the custom details I wanted. She was always patient, cheerful, and responsive. There were literally dozens of emails. She also let me visit her workshop so I could see the dolls in person. I had never seen a porcelain bjd before at the time, so this was incredibly helpful for me deciding if I wanted the doll and what details I wanted. Once I ordered the doll, I received updates with photos every week or two and saw every phase of the process. It was great seeing her come together!
Prompt shipping? 3
She even refunded me an extra $6 from the shipping. Most people wouldn't bother. She is very straightforward and sweet.
Production time, if relevant: 3
I ordered her in November. Teri said the doll would be done in February. She shipped on 2/23 and arrived on 2/25. You can't get better than that!
Quality of packaging: 3
She came in a wood box with internal padding and ribbons to tie her in. That was packed with shredded newspaper in a bigger cardboard box. Very safe.

About the Quality of the Product (rate 1-3, explain any 1s or 2s)
Did the quality match the price? 3
She was a great value at $1250. Teri has since increased her prices.
Item as pictured and described? 3
I couldn't have been more informed. I was a very picky, specific customer, down to the position of her fingers, the lines on her feet, and the amount of eyelashes. I also asked for some things Teri had not done before like a warmer pink skin tone, pubic hair, interchangeable hands, and more eyeshadow. She excelled at these extra challenges, in fact she said many times how much she was enjoying working on my doll. She also said she couldn't do some of things I asked, which I think is a good sign. She won't just say yes to everything, she only accepts the things she can do very well. Teri followed every specification we agreed to and showed this in photos before she sent the doll.
Quality of porcelain (too thin? Rough spots?): 3
Excellent. So smooth and very even in thickness. I have since taken this doll apart for maintenance and I can see that there are no thin spots. The porcelain is thick enough to be relatively sturdy, and yet my doll does not feel heavy. Teri said she only uses the finest quality porcelain and from the feel of the doll I believe it.
Quality of tension (does the doll hold poses? Too loose and floppy?): 3
Her tension is fantastic. She can raise her leg high in the air (important for a ballerina!). In general the springs are perfect tension in that they will hold almost any position that is not an overextension of the joint. I do wish she could touch her face more easily (it is just at the outside range of her elbow joint).
Quality of paintwork: 3
Teri's paint is not of the same style as an Enchanted Doll, it is more simple and fresh. In my opinion her dolls look like a person with no makeup. Some people might not like this I guess, but I love it because then I can apply makeup myself and change it. Teri knows her skills with paint and uses them to create her own style that is still very high quality.
Quality of sculpting: 3
I love the aesthetics of the sculpt, and the engineering of the joints is very good!
Quality of accessories (box, stand, wig, clothing, etc): 3
All Teri's dolls come with a wooden box with ribbon ties, a nice stand, and a wig. The wigs are on a leather base with a magnet. They are very well made. I ordered an extra bob wig, which was also very nice. Teri shopped especially for me to get the right color, since she didn't have it in stock. I also ordered extra hands and two pairs of feet (regular and ballet). All of them are supreme quality and well painted, like the rest of the doll. I also ordered one pair of black ballet shoes. They are very nicely made in black leather, but the ribbons turned out to be fussy to tie, at least for my fingers. I have since ordered other accessories from Teri, but I will post that review separately.

Other comments?
Like many artists, Teri offers lifetime warranty on her dolls. I have used this warranty a bit. When Alisha arrived I noticed that one of the pins on her elbow was sticking out just a hair too far. Teri offered to file it down the next time I was in the area. I forgot about it, but she didn't! A year later when I dropped Alisha off to get a new wig, Teri offered to fix that pin. By then it had worn down or settled on it's own and was no longer a problem. Teri also tuned up her springs for free. When my doll was shipped back to me with her new accessories, two hands broke (bad post office i think). Teri replaced the hands for free, in fact she already had extras ready that she had made when she first made my doll!! My doll has a special skin tone, so I know they were specifically hers.
Also, after 2+ years of play her arm leather began to wear thin. Teri was totally willing to replace it for free, but I asked her to ship me some spare leather instead since I didn't want to send my doll away. Teri was happy to do so, and now my doll is as good as new.
Anyways, Teri is a total dream to work with. The whole experience was 10/10 and I couldn't be happier with the service or my cherished doll.
Would you order from this company again? Obviously so, because I did! I have another Paperwhite I bought a year later. I'll post a review of her next.
