I keep hoping to see some of your dolls in person, Kelly, at a show or somewhere. Do you ever get to Louisville?

Weird, Kelly has a website AND a facebook page for her dolls, but suddenly all google searches and facebook searches are coming up with nothing :-( I know, it's so strange! I must be doing something wrong...

Hi Kelly! i am the happy owner of one of your dolls. I am thrilled and I can't wait to have her here ^_^!! I choosed the Brown eyed brunette because she looked a bit like me, haha!
I just wanted to ask you, do you happen to have a naked picture of your girls? since all the aution pictures are from the dressed fullsets, I am really curious to see how do the joints look in a frontal position.
Hugs and thanks!

Hi, eveybody, life gets crazy, and I've not bee paying much attention to the forum. Ive got the FB page and website back up, I didn't mean for them to be down for more than a day, but oops... Jill, I'd like to get together. I've been trying to get more work done to show off! Nanyalin, thanks so much for buying my doll! I love the brunette. Her face is modeled after my daughter I do have nude pics, let me find them! Maybe on Flickr, I try to keep them off facebook, and haven't put any on my website. I hope your girl gets to you ok, let me know. My brother shipped her for me, but he's an experienced ebay seller, so all should be good. I finally have a new and improved more mature girl done. She is 13 inches tall, with double hip joints.

Hi Kelly!
Just a quick update to say that the girl has arrived to Spain. She is really delicate and pretty, and I like her a lot. The bad thing- I was barely 5 minutes playing with her, and she has started losing limbs. First an arm, and then, upon being placed, both springs on the legs gave up and now refuse to hold any tension. I am a bit shocked, even if I do not worry -I know I can re-spring her-, but I suggest you to use stronger springs in future projects and review the bars that hold the limbs in place. I could easily figure someone with no clue of stringing dolls having a heart attack upon the doll starting to disassemble right out of the box! XD

Noooo!!!! I posed that doll may times photographing her, and never had any problems! I had her around for months! I can send you a stringing diagram or you can send her back and I'll restring her and refund your shipping. I am very sorry!!!! As for springs, I have a very difficult time with that size of doll finding springs with the appropriate tension, those are special-ordered and were costly. I appreciate your feedback and I will rethink my methods.

Hi again! I suppose that, being so small, she has to be a pain to string. What I've noticed is that the springs don't stretch evenly -they were forced in the tips, while the rest of it was still contracted, if that makes sense). So she has a lot of neat tension in the thigh joints, and almost nothing in the calves. I really don't see myself shipping her back again, so I will try to string her myself (it will be a good practice!). If I can't find springs that size, I will use elastics instead. Thanks anyway for your offer to help, and I think it's a good idea that you ensure this things not to happen in future works. The little girls are pricey, and it's really heartbreaking to see this happen when they arrive.
String diagram would be very appreciated! Thanks for your help : )

I can send you a variety of springs if that will help. I usually use the ones with that require the most pressure to spread the coils, which gives great tension, but if you pull them too far they fail. The joints must be slid back and forth but not pulled apart when posing. The looser springs with more give just wont hold a pose. Again, this is trickier in smaller dolls, I have found. Thank you for your patience! I know the dolls are pricey, and I would never want to buy something that fell apart when I got it home!!! PM me an email address and I will send you a stringing diagram. (Tell me which parts need repair).

Thanks a lot, Kelly. I was really scared at first, I was just playing with the arms and bending them, and then I heard the *clannng*. I noticed that the pin with the two loops that is in between the spring and the transversal pin at the joints had the loops a bit opened, as if the wire were not strong enough to hold the tension. Then, the lower part of the leg was very loose, as if the springs in there were stretched. I will pm' you my adress, and I will see what can I do! My main regret in here is not to be able to make a proper unboxing or some arrival pictures of the girl -_-U
