Thank you domstudio! Yes, she does make some beautiful dolls- I really like her Mata Hari doll too! I always wanted to do a Mata Hari type costume and still haven't got around to it, and then I came across Angelika's doll and fell in love with it!

Yes, I can see the hip joint is much more fluid now, and the painting is more subtly shaded. She is truly lovely. How do you find her tension compared to Paperwhite? An older Balan doll I saw was a bit floppy in compassion, although she did still pose very nicely.

I've had a look at your flickr Bibarina and the clothes you make for your dolls are stunning; I love your corsets. I'm looking forward to seeing your creations for this doll.

An older Balan doll I saw was a bit floppy in compassion, although she did still pose very nicely. Her tension is really tight- I mean really!!!!! Much tighter than my Paperwhite. I was actually going to ask you about Paperwhite tension, as I think mine may not be quite as tight as yours due to manhandling by nasty customs officers! It is very good, but could be better.... They broke her leg, and I think they must have really pulled her apart and let her twang back together, so perhaps a little tension was lost as a result- GGGGRRRRRHHHH lol!

Do you like the tight tension in your Balan doll? I know with elastic too tight can make the doll kicky, but I've never seen a doll with springs that were too tight yet. Happy to help with your Paperwhite any way I can! If you know which springs are the problem I might be able to send you replacements.

I will try and work out which ones! Happy to pay you for them- I just wouldn't know where to begin to look for them myself lol!!
I do like the tension- it is taking me a little while to get used to it, but her poses are so firm its great!! She doesn't feel over tight as such- it just takes a little more pressure to move her joints than I am used to!

She sounds great. Too bad we don't live closer so I could see her! It's so hard to accurately describe the feel of a doll's posing online!
Yes, if I have extra I can send some. They are not expensive at all. And if I don't have extra I can tell you which springs to get and where. <3

Yes, it's a shame that we can't get together, I would love to know what you think! You are so right- it is hard to describe how a doll feels!! I don't know any other doll collectors near me, so I only have experience of those that I own. I feel that all my dolls pose well, each has their own limitations, but they all pretty much do what I would like them to do. If I would ask for anything more I guess it would be the double hip joint so that they could all do knee to chest- but you do lose the lovely smooth line of the leg so you can't have it all!!

She really is lovely! (and I do like the name Demelza for her if you decide to choose it) She has beautiful sparkling blue eyes with a hint of mischief in them. I like her slender torso, she looks very well proportioned. And how good to have a doll arrive securely packaged, and with a good quality stand too. Winner all round!

I am still waivering on the name- Bella trips of the tongue more easily- but she looks like a cheeky little urchin girl to me.... so Demelza would suit her perfectly!! Yes, she does have a hint of mischief in her eyes! She is beautifully proportioned, and I am really looking forward to making her some clothes. The stand is great as it is designed so that her feet don't slip around at all, and is good and solid. Having said that, I am happy with all the stands that I have been given with my dolls. Sisterfox always makes very pretty ones that compliment the style of clothing she has designed and I love the clean lines of my Paperwhite stand too!

She is lovely. Yes, this artist has improved quite a bit! Her body is getting more and more like an ED. Demelza (loved the Poldark series!!!!) is perfect because she has a bit of mischief in her face and Belle seems more for an innocent looking doll.
