Ugh fingers are so hard, sorry that one broke! I like how lean her torso is, she will look wonderful in porcelain! Keep up the good work!

I cannot wait to have her in porcelain, ughhhhh.....that'll be so incredibly exciting! Thanks for the encouragement! ...Wow! Face ups on resin are like night and day versus on Sculpey or Monster High dolls! I've done quite a few Monster High face ups and they are way more difficult to get the watercolor colored pencils to stick (even with Mr. Super Clear!). Anyway, my Popovy Sisters doll head "Cherry" arrived yesterday in the mail! I immediately went to Hobby Lobby and got the couple extra supplies I needed to attempt a face up on her. After babysitting my baby brother and sister I started my first real attempt at a face up on a resin BJD. Very exciting! I must say, VERY DIFFICULT as well! Especially as the Popovy Sisters doll's heads are so tiny! I thought she'd be bigger! She's quite a bit smaller than my doll attempt. Looking and working on her face up definitely made me want to make some changes to my head sculpt. My mom also gave me some notes on her face thatI want to incorporate. Anyway, here's pictures!! Before: After (the first of many tries):

So I wiped off yesterday's face up and redid it with acrylic paints. The eyes and liner were way easier with paint. Next time I try it, I'm going to use watercolor colored pencils on the eyebrows, acrylics on the eyes, and chalk pastels for the lips. Here's the pictures from today:
