Hi everyone! I've decided that this year I'm going to complete some of my projects, and not get started on so many new ones... I am great at starting stuff, not so great at finishing things once I have taken the sculpt to a level where I consider it finished. Sigh! Need to get better at completing my projects! Any ideas on how to stay motivated? When having to make so MANY molds and maybe going back to changing things on the prototype, making new molds?? I am finding it difficult! Here is my BJD skull lady that I started sculpting in 2012, and I have completed her - only to realize I want to change her a bit. So, have to go back to the prototype! I love her though, so I will make an effort. (I WILL!) A. Cecilia by Katarina Karsberg, on Flickr A. Meet my new dolls! They are A. Cecilia (skull lady) and Vine. I just emptied the kiln - will start painting now. by Katarina Karsberg, on Flickr #hemligdolls #bjd #porcelain #doll by Katarina Karsberg, on Flickr The skull lady is A.Cecilia and the other doll is Vine.

Thanks so much bibarina! Glad you like them. I will finish them, I think I will make myself a deadline for completing them, to get it done. I felt awful when I looked at my photos on flickr and realized it was that long ago that I worked on them.

Thanks fawkes! I plan on making the skull lady a big afro wig, all stark white I think. She is a little startling! I have been very intrigued by skeletons and skulls since I went to an archeological dig-exhibtion when I was very little, I guess loads of kids are fascinated by skulls and skeletons. It really stayed with me, still working my way through that fascination

I love your dolls, they are incredibly unique, well made, and they have such great faces.
