Fitz you are right starting too high can scare off the buyers, that's why I like to start with reasonable price and let the buyers bring it to price they are willing to pay.
Sutton, yes there could be many reasons for retraction but in my case at least one of the bidders I know is a very serious buyer and a very nice one so that's why I thought maybe my listing settings were messed up somehow preventing bids from staying lol (as silly as it may sound).

Kamia dear, I know how much you wanted her. If I do get the photos of her in her new home I will ask to post them here, I never ask for pictures though it's only if my buyer decides to send me some.
