Hello everyone! I'm a novice here, at heartsofclay. I’ve already written a little about myself in ‘Introduce Yourself’ section. And now I would like to share with you my recent collection "Timeless Treasures”. This is a collection of 5 dolls made with “One Caress” mold with artisan silver jewellery and accessories with semi-precious gems. Made in 2015- 2016. Thinking of this collection I was inspired by many books and legends and also by craftsmanship of ancient jewelers. The concept of the collection: They are the treasures. The models made after the perfect creation of the nature. Creatures carrying never-ageing beauty of female body: smooth lines and curves, natural poses and gestures. The models’ divine beauty is framed into their artisan jewellery and accessories. Inspired by the legends of amazons, valkyries and vikings, these tomb treasures look like they were hugging ankles of some ancient warrior mistress, or holding the hair of goddess queen just yesterday. These accessories are too special to be called just jewellery. They are the treasures.Today I would like to introduce you 2 dolls of the collection - Iman and Altana. Please, feel free to share your comments and ask questions. Have a nice summer weekend everyone!

Dina , thank you!)I paint fabrics for dresses by my hand. Practically, at first I sew dresses, and then I paint the dresses (by my sketch) I have a video about Altana's dress in my instagram, but I do not know if I can insert video here) Height of my dolls - 34 cm - 13 inches. It is almost impossible to find a fabric that would be a fine and was painted right on the scale, so I use only natural finest silk and painted it myself.

Fantastic, I love working on silk directly myself also. Love the raw edging, a terrific soft effect also. I am looking forward to working in pmc for jewelry too, just not enough time in the day!

Dina I totally understand you! I want to do everything and know everything) Dolls offer such an opportunity. But! I realized that I can not know everything and do everything myself. Whether it's jewelry, sculpture, porcelain, embroidery, sewing, drawing - each is a whole industry that people give their entire lives to! And I realized that my life is not enough to learn also jewelery craftsmanship)) Making porcelain dolls, their dresses is enough. So I do approximate sketches of dolls, I tell my vision of my doll to jeweler, and goldsmith magic begins on) I work with a wonderful jeweler Julia Sukhareva - she is so talanted! Im glad to meet her)

OlgaGood , it is such a great idea to work in collaboration with another artist, hopefully something I might be able to do one day if the opportunity arises , The works by Julia are fabulous. I see my work as complimentary to the beautiful dolls made in porcelain or resin - in my own way with faceups, wigs, jewelry, costumes and my chairs .. I add another artistic interpretation and dimension. Having recently stumbled into dolls recently, as you say the vast array of craftsmanship required make them a wonderful creative treat indeed!!
