Hello everyone, As you all most likely know, I've been waiting on pins and needles for my first BJD to arrive and she's finally HERE. I did a box opening, if you'd all like to see me, crazy excited over this development. Click here for youtube link
I've taken so many photos already because I'm crazy obsessed and will share a few below.

Congratulations on the arrival of your very first porcelain bjd. I can tell you now, that she will not be your only one, they are crazy addictive. You'll want to have more of these beauties. She is one gorgeous doll, and i understand your reaction, when you take your very first porcelain doll out off all her wrappings and see her face for the first time. I loved your video, i could see your excitement. The only thing i would recommend in the future, when you opening the porcelain doll, do it on the table covered with soft blanket or a towel, just in case the doll will slip and fall down. While watching, i had few scary moments when i thought that the doll will fall down. I hope you will enjoy your beauty and take lots of pictures of her. She is stunning. Love redheads with freckles. If one day i will order a doll for Lutsenko, it will be redhead with tones of freckles.

ivdolls - I LOVE the feedback! That is so helpful. I was trying to be very careful, but I'm so new to it all. I loved the suggestion of a table too because it may make it easier to see in the box. I planned forever to do the box opening, but when she got here I barely cared about how the cameras were set up. I just wanted to see her!! Lol domstudio - Thank you! I LOVE HER. eva - Well, I wrote a backstory for her that I'm still kind of playing with but I totally will share it once the kinks are worked out. But mostly, I am obsessed with Scotland. It's one of my top dream vacation spots that I have yet to visit. But I love the Scottish Highlands particularly. So having a doll that looked sort of traditionally Scottish was important to me. I had so many names floating around my head though. I think she suits Eilionoir though!

I'm not even sure I would have been charged anything through customs but it was nice of them to put the value as the wholesale cost. |

She is beautiful, a fabulous choice .. Look out you are about to become a fanatical crazy doll lady like I recently became! Love the red hair and freckles, this is always my preferred look also.

Finally watched your box opening. It was very interesting, especially since it is your first bjd! You are right, she is just perfect. So happy for you.
I commented on your Flickr about the necklace not realizing it was your doll and that Lutsenko had made it (the necklace). They did a great job, it's a unique and well-executed design that still looks like the design of human jewelry.
She looks great in your photos. I love her realistic skin tone. The video washed her out, but you can see it in the pictures.
Did you order that other dress for her? I'm curious what fits these dolls. I'm having a hard time finding clothes for my Utta by Anna's Dolls, who may be a similar size. Thank goodness I got a dress from her artist.
I can't wait to see you experiment with the poses she can do!

The Lutsenko dolls are slightly smaller and have a different body shape :-) |

Tonner Deja Vu outfits should fit- I only have one dress but I just tried it on Anna's doll out of curiosity since you asked, and it fits like a glove! The Antoinette/cami size is too big. |
