I'm bothered by the fragility BUT, oh wow, the fired pieces do look awesome! Yes, porcelain "Dresden" lace is very fragile to fire and to handle(some more, some less) but you've succeeded in mastering it and it is undoubtedly beautiful. To be handled with extreme care, but definitely awesome to look at. Love the lace corset. Bravo!

It is fragile indeed - though I'm sometimes surprised by how strong porcelain can be too - mainly because it's very thin and is "suspended". I think experimentation - especially when you learn by yourself with no teacher or master around - is necessary to see how you can get around the fragility and have a viable porcelain piece in the end. My first attempt was half a success. I opted for another technique with the second attempt and it gave much better results; I also discovered that it's possible to fix a broken part with no sign of the original breakage. Experimentation can be very frustrating - it takes a lot of time, energy and thinking - but in the end, most of the time, it's very rewarding.

Thank you Pb It will take time for me to finish them though as I'm doing this on my spare time, and I do everything - accessories included - on my own.

With such beautiful work, taking care and going slowly is very important. There is a luxury in being able to take one's time. I am awe and admiration. Thank you for sharing your work!
