Good evening everyone! It's snowy evening in Tallinn and it's already dark outside. Winter will start officially the day after tomorrow .. OMG .. Do you already have the Christmas-is-coming mood? I'm not yet because there is one, more important date before that - the 16th of December and exhibition in Moscow. Though, I'm not in holidays mood, my studio looks pretty similar to Santa's home Unfortunately, I do not have elves who can help me .. The outfit is almost done. All costumes for 3 girls from Inner Mongolia collection is made of velvet and brocade. Garment and hair accessories (yes, these are hair accessories on the hair braided) are silver and unique - as usual made by jeweler in a single copy only for this collection. More photos in my flickr) And I will go - continue finishing the costumes) Have a nice evening!

Good evening everyone! It's 8 days left before the exhibition ... And today I'm starting the presentation of my "Inner Mongolia" collection concept. Later, I will tell you more about traditional decorations, headgears, costumes, and body ornaments. Today I would like just to give you an idea of the collection - in general, briefly. As we all know, ancient people (our ancestors) prayed not to philosophical, abstract ideas, but to 100% real, existed objects and natural phenomena. They prayed to a deer before kill him during hunting, prayed to a bird flying high into the sky, prayed to an old tree growing in a sanctuary forest, they prayed to the Sun, Sky, Stars, and Darkness. To be frank, such philosophy is very close to what I feel about the world around... That's why three my shamans are dedicated to three ancient gods amongst the most significant and powerful ones - the gods personifying eternal elements and phenomenas. So, they are: Tenger (Sky) - the girl in white Shöniin (Night) - the girl in black Gal (Fire) - the girl in red Today I'm sharing with you the last photos of details and, hopefully, in 2 or 3 days they will be ready to make a public appearance here Wish you a great evening! Tenger’s headgear and hat (Silver, semi precious stones, beads, natural fur for hair):

Shöniin's headgear and hat (the same materials):

Gal's headgear and hat (the same materials):

Shöniin's shoe

Tenger is waiting for the final costume fitting

WOW they are incredible! I admit I didn't care for the argali when I saw the progress photo, but now that I see it complete with the doll I LOVE it. The perfect finishing touch.
I think Shoniin is my favorite, but I love how Gal's eyes seem to look upwards. I don't think I've ever seen that in a doll before! I really like the look it gives her expression.
