Thank you so much!!! omg... I was really really worried she wasn't going to be worth the wait. And she doesn't exactly take the best pictures of them either (no offense to her at all, but... if she just had a better camera or took the pictures in better lighting... She is so much different in person as compared to her promo photos - In a good way!) Anyway I'm so happy. It was worth it. Phew. Glad the wait is over. And now I'm part of the porcelain club - woot woot lol

I've not been around doll - land for awhile, I saw folk mentioning this "Moonglass" from Marmite Sue, and went a looking! I was blown away. How FABULOUS that you have her. Her eyes they look precious and her blushing so pinky perfect. She is really something! Such a beauty! So unusual! Congratulations! I remember being so nervous at first. I found going slow, carefully moving my doll was helpful. Enjoy

Congratulations on your first porcelain doll! I understand your joy, she really looks amazing! Sueding is a problem I addressed Eli when I got Moonglass Lan a few months ago. She answered she used resin and some "powder" to protect the joints as none of the joints were sueded...I don't like it either and the noise is irritating. I was pleased to see that - almost - all the joints of Alice are sueded. She poses beautifully and funny you chose the same wig I did ;-) Is it made of feathers as I think it is? Eli is really gifted at painting eyes and you really have to see them in person to fully appreciate their beauty. (Unlike you, I enjoy Eli's pictures of her dolls and the ethereal looks of these creations never ceases to amaze me. No fancy settings, no fancy stand...just the dolls in all their glory....I like that)

Yep they are made of feathers! I do like her pictures, but I think she should also take high quality natural light photos for potential buyers because it's hard to tell what they look like, especially since shell seems to refect the color of lighting.

I understand your point. It's difficult to please everybody anyway. Have a great time with your girl :-)

Congratulations, your girl is so beautiful !!!! I love Eli's dolls and I actually like the heaviness and creaky joints, makes a doll feel like a doll rather than a tiny person. The Shell porcelain looks a bit warmer in colour than Moonglass but still has that ethereal appearance. An extremely beautiful art doll, treasure her - I hope she brings you much happiness.

Thank you! I do love how heavy she is! The scratchy joints only alarm me because she's my first porcelain and I'm not used to it. I just don't want to scratch her

Yay! So glad she's finally there and lived up to the photos and even delivered more! I love it when a doll speaks to you more in real life than she ever did in pictures I'm so happy for you!!
