What about a thread about photographing tips? Advice on how to take good pics of our dolls. Also, impressions about your camera. What it can do or can't. Does it suit your needs or would you invest in a more sophisitcated one? etc.

That is such a great idea that there already is one! In the photo gallery. It's a sticky. Maybe you can add some tips to it!

Maybe you can add some tips to it! Thank you Allurose. I'm such a dummy when I take photos, I can't lol But I'll be glad to get some tips. I've just invested in a new camera and I'm eager to try it.

That sounds awesome! I should really add some more tips to the thread myself. I have learned a lot (the hard way) about taking photos.

What about a thread about photographing tips? Advice on how to take good pics of our dolls. Also, impressions about your camera. What it can do or can't. Does it suit your needs or would you invest in a more sophisitcated one? etc. When I "discovered" this hobby, I didn't realize how many people was here and there around the world that love and collect dolls. But mostly, didn't realize that photographing your dolls can be (and in fact IS) essential and as much satisfying as having dolls themselves! .
So ANY advice and tip would be so very welcome!
Btw, is there any forum member that uses a light box, either professional or home made? I know, usually it can be useful for small objects/dolls, but I'm just curious, as the light is essential and it's lack in seasons like autumn or winter is very annoing.
