What lovely jewelry! Cannot imagine how small jewelry items must be for these tiny porcelain girls. BTW, I also have a "Hazy".

Your jewelry is "bold" looking. I like that. Hazy has a very strong personality. Mine has a factory face-up and doesn't really do her justice. Truthfully I have not done much with her. She's a little larger than I am into these days, but I do love her sculpt.

My Hazy actually has a default faceup too, but it seems to be a little different than the one that was on the ElfDoll website.

I think all of the dolls look slightly different even coming directly from the factory. Every doll has its own personality. There are subtle differences, don't you think, "allurose"?

My other doll with a full set faceup, Doll Chateau Christina, has a nicer faceup than on the website too. I was planning to wipe her face, but when I saw it...never!!

Some dolls don't photograph as well as others, too. Someone has to paint their faces even at the factories. I visited one of the doll factories in China and certain workers are more talented than others.

Great idea Jill! I also thought of ordering my own Flickr book of particular artist that I follow and love. It would be great if you could order them of multiple artists.

Boy, some of your photos would be perfect for a book, Enrico. I think you should go for it. I need to hop over to SF & take some photog lessons from you.

The elaborate pearl "collars" and the African beaded pieces are just amazing! Thank you! I would say they are fun to make, but that is a lie! Those pieces make me tear my hair out. But it is worth it in the end. I just finished a pearl one for MSD. Will post pictures once I stop being sick of looking at it, lol.
