Can't wait to see the new Cinderella as well... Along with my Goddess (Primavera) and her sister Edie, Cinderella is on the top of my Favourite ED List. Also, I saw her in Italy in person... what can I say? Perfection! Oh Primavera!!! She is my Grail doll!! Will you be sharing pictures?? Pleeeeeeeeeeaase!!!! |

Also, I saw her in Italy in person... what can I say? Perfection! I truly envy anyone, who has been able to obtain an Ed porcelain. I'm still kicking myself for not purchasing one when they were first out. I loved MB's work even then, but didn't foresee it getting so expensive so quickly. I love your avatar, "amoreen". |

Amoreen, She is totally stunning! The head piece is worthy of framing. Who is "Edie"? Edie is the one of erliest molds of Enchanted Dolls. What I love of her is the beautiful makeup around the eyes. They are so expressful.

i really like the new shoes she made! I hope she would make them available. it might possibly be she didn't design it with a ribbon! that would be very interesting to see. I prefer the new shoes on her blog posted few hours ago that covered the toes than the hybrid classical pencil heel Stiletto which looked a bit too large for Ed feet! |

I have to admit that I was quite surprised to read that statement from Marina about all the Cinderella dolls having those shoes. I saw Cinderella at Artfair 21 in 2009 and in my photos from back then, she was wearing the normal stiletto shoes. You can see the normal stiletto shoes from my photos in 2009.   I think that the new Cinderella shoes look MUCH better than the original stiletto shoes. I love how they cover the toes. It looks like a better fit to me. |

I was surprised as well...At Piceno Fashion Doll Convetion in Italy about two years ago, Cinderella already had the new shoes with the silver motif! As soon as I will find the pictures I will try to post them. Anyway, I agree that covered toes look much, much better, but I definiely prefer the old stillettos.

I thought about this some more and I think what Marina is saying is that she has just now made 3 pairs of these shoes. One is for her old Cinderella, and the others are for the other two that will be created. So they are limited to Cinderella only and were designed recently.
The photos on the ED website also show Cinderella with the old shoes. I think Marina has designed this shoe recently and added it to the original Cinderella's costume. Sorry for confusing everyone!

I love the first Cinderella. And I also want to see how different with previous the new doll will be. I also love the first Cinderella, I am so used to her face all these years. Hope the changes are subtle. I am just curious how much it going to bring price wise! |

I am so over the moon with excitement to see this Cinderella. She will be MAGNIFICENT I am sure!!!! I love the changes Marina has made to Cinderella over the years, the wig has changed, the shoes, and she also added that DEVINE collar to Cinderella's dress. According to Marina, she is making some changes to the collar on the new Cinderella, I can't wait to see what those changes are!!! That collar is probably my all time favorite piece by Marina, but then again, I am obsessed with anything Marina creates.
