Hey Guys!
I got into to the bjd community pretty recently but I have already heard that this is the place to be! So, here I am. My name is Casey! So far I only have one doll and her name is Katerina, her full name is Katerina Nina Sergeevna, but that is kinda a mouthful so it's just Katerina normally. I got her about a month ago from Ekaterina of SkvorkaDolls her instagram and her etsy, she has some beautiful dolls for sale right now.
I have always loved art, but fashion specifically has always been my passion and I was going through one of my fashion illustration books and I saw some pictures of Marina's Enchanted Dolls and they enthralled me so I looked her up online and spent hours looking at all the dolls in her gallery and drawing them and it came to me that bjds would be the perfect models for designing clothes because they have human proportions but are much smaller, so from an amount of time and fabric standpoint they seemed perfect. At that point I started trying to figure out how to buy one, and obviously I tried to find out how to buy an enchanted doll, only to find that was only possible if I took out a second mortgage. Then I found my way to a fashion doll site in Chinese but they just weren't same clearly so fast forward a month and a ton of googling and I found the most beautiful doll.
Meet Katerina!
In the last picture you can see all the clothes and accessories she came with and some of her beautiful tattoos. She has those three, one on her shoulder, and one on her back that is just awesome, you have to arch her back to see it. Anyways, I know this was super long but I just wanted to say hello and show you Katerina and hopefully you'll be seeing me around the forum from now on! :3
