Facebook rating drops. TikTok is constantly growing. There are those who are also focusing on the resumption of Clubhouse. These are just some predictions that could impact the relationship between Italians and social networks. Which social media will be used most? According to research carried out by Blogmeter, taken from an article in La Repubblica , the relationship between Italians and social media will be marked by the development of the dynamics already in place . According to the analysis conducted on a sample of 1,714 internet users resident in Italy and registered with at least one social network, aged between 12 and 75, it clearly emerges that the application still destined to grow is TikTok . Among the elements that could closely concern ByteDance's social network in the new year, there is also the possibility of seeing some features implemented by other apps, as has already happened with YouTube Shorts and Instagram Reels . Currently, the most used social network remains YouTube, used by 90% of users among those interviewed.
It follows immediately behind Facebook (87%), whose declining Australia Phone Number approval rating could last for much of 2022, also thanks to the privacy issues that have involved the Menlo Park giant on several occasions. Pinterest, Instagram and LinkedIn are destined to grow . Instant messaging applications will also continue to increase the number of active users, with WhatsApp leading the way, followed by Telegram, Messenger and Skype. The users who currently use Clubhouse are 9% of the sample involved in the survey. Among these, there are those who are ready to bet on a sudden recovery in its growth. Industry experts agree that audio will be at the center of innovations in the new year, thanks to the convenience with which it is possible to share experiences with your network in a practical and immediate way. How the use of social media is changing 46% of the people interviewed declared that they use social media for leisure and entertainment, while 34% use it to fill moments of boredom. For 28% they are an important source of information; 25% say they are useful for learning new things.
Contrary to what you might expect, only 23% use them to stay in touch with their contacts. In the new year we will appreciate the potential of social networks especially in the retail sector . Faced with the increasingly stringent difficulties of monitoring user behavior, many platforms are directing their efforts towards social selling, i.e. the implementation of solutions that allow purchases directly in-app. The new year should also bring with it growth in influencer marketing , in the wake of what has been recorded for at least two years . A key element of the growth of collaborations between influencers and brands will be the creation of content, increasingly developed jointly. Finally, content marketing will also undergo some changes due to all those creators who intend to capture the attention of users . Regardless of the channel, those who produce interactive, surprising and exciting content - thanks also to the use of storytelling - will be even more able to intercept the desired target audience.
