Hi everyone, I am DD-Anne. I started making bjds in 2005 when I was a college student major in bioinformatics. And after I graduated, I became a full time doll artist. I started with tiny cute resin bjds, but my heart was really on larger elegant mature dolls. In 2012, finally I had a chance to learn about making porcelain dolls. My first porcelain bjd project was started in 2013, and I am still working on it. Here is my flickr, www.flickr.com/photos/dd-anne/I am glad to joint this forum and discuss porcelain bjd with you.^-^ (already seen some friend from Flickr here.)

Welcome, DD-Anne. I follow you on Flickr and I am always intrigued by your creative process. You definitely are very dedicated and I can't wait to see your porcelain doll come to life. If you watch the process all along, as I have, it is a little like being a witness to the birth of something wonderful.

Welcome, DD-Anne, I have seen a few of your dolls before but just looked at your Flickr pix. I'm so impressed. Your new older girl looks beautiful. Am also in love with your earlier "Alice in Underwood" series. The costumes and furniture are just amazing. The Cheshire Cat with the "zipper" smile, is one of the most inventive ideas I've ever seen. I cannot wait to see your new dolls. The first sculpt looks lovely. Will you do her with "awake" eyes as well?

But I will definitely sculpt new faces with opened eyes in the future.
