Basically Hello in elvish! How is everyone? I am Marta, also known as Nanyalin in the BJD world. It's a pleasure to be in the fórum and to meet more fans of porcelain articulated dolls. I also hope to share my creations soon with you here, and have loads of fun talking about these pretty and fragille creations.
hugs all around!

Hi Nanyalin- nice to see you over here- Are you making a porcelain in addition to your resins? At this point I think I have a few dolls with you faceups, but prmarily I am a huge fan of your elf themed photos. Cant wait to see what you do over here. And here is fingers crossed for a porcelain elf.

Thanks for the welcome! I am surprised that you know my work, Allurose! Bibarina, I will post some of my dolls, I hope you like them too! Fitz, unexpected pleasure to see you around, is great to meet the veterans of the bjdollism around : D . Actually, I've been working in porcelain for quite a while, but the learning process has been slow and took me a while until I figured out hw to work in the new medium.Porcelain elf is incoming indeed! Will be based in my last recent creation, Maeve the Leanhaun Sidhe:

Oh. My. Goodness. A porcelain Maeve? Nanyalin, you may remember me as the poor girl messaging you on facebook, trying to scrape money together to get one of the resin Maeve's just after the pre-order finished, but couldn't! I am definitely saving for this... Any WIP pictures would be welcomed

Hi Kamia! Oh, I remember you! Haha, oh dear, worry not, it will be ore Maeve preorders ^^! About the porcelain doll I'm workig on, the initial head mold is called Aeslinn, and she is my first human doll (I ws a bit chicken to start with long and brittle pointy porcelain ears in the beginning). Her body is sightly different from the resin one, but keeps the elongated lines and elegant features. I hope I can show you some decent pictures of the finished greenware (and some of my first fired attempts just for the lolz XD)

Yes, I've been following your work since you first did the collaborations with Twigling a long time ago. I love your elves! It would be so cool to see one in porcelain! I hope you will post in our Workshop!

Thanks a bunch for the welcome, guys! I hope to have everything ready by the end of the month. I've been working really hard with molds, porcelain and sculptures. The idea of crafting my dolls in porcelain has been in my head since 2010, and I am so happily reaching to conclusions, I almost can't wait! In the while, you can see more pictures of my works in resin and customizations in my Flickr: www.flickr.com/photos/49215682@N05/In the while, I leave you with a couple of pictures of my late[¡st release, ''Maeve''. My main focus has always been articulation research and development, to build up dolls with joints as soft and natural as possible, but looking for the best range of articulation.
