Hello! I just wanted to share my exciting find with all of you. I was at an antique store yesterday and discovered this tiny crown! The crown is allegedly an infant's crown from Prague. I thought it would be the perfect size for porcelain dolls! I have it modeled here on my Forgotten Hearts doll. I am still waiting for her new wig, so excuse her puffy hair! I think the crown is so opulent and lovely! I hope to incorporate more gold tones in my doll's look to better suit the crown!

What a cool find! Looks great on your doll. It's not for an infant, it's for the "Infant of Prague" religious statue which depicts Jesus as an infant. And it's a male's crown because as far as religious statues are concerned, Jesus is king. The Virgin Mary does not wear a crown, she wears an elaborate coronet and so do female saints, only less elaborate. But... who cares, it looks great and Marina has a male's crown(the small one that was a Xmas ornament) on one of her dolls too.

Beautiful crown! If you happen to go to Paris you may want to go to the Saint Ouen flea market, a place famous for its antiques dealers. I've seen small sized crown similar to yours you may like.

I had no idea of that detail. The tag just said "Infant Prague crown" so I made the incorrect assumption! You truly do learn something new every day! And thank you for all the compliments everyone!
