Hi! I am Oksana, Aeroksana is my net name and I hope that someday this name will become my official trademark, haha I live in St. Petersburg, a very beautiful city, which is called the Venice of the North because of the large amount of rivers and canals. My acquaintance with articulated and porcelain dolls started at the same time, when (2 or 3? years ago) I accidentally stumbled upon photos of dolls of Marina Bychkova. I then took a great interest in painting on the skin with henna, mehndi, and looked beautiful photos for inspiration and then I saw henna tattooing doll "Silk Road", and then the rest of the dolls ... And when I saw "The Vessel", she is on my avatar, my life has changed irreversibly! In a nutshell - since then I am gradually turning into an artist During this time, I allowed myself to learn to paint, sculpt, make design for different things, and in general, to look at life from a different angle. I discovered the wonderful world of sculptures come to life - ball jointed dolls! Now I have great pleasure to live the life of a community of people in love with the dolls ♥ And - I also sculpting my first doll, be sure I will show my process I infinitely admire amazing people, those who create beautiful unique dolls! And every time I wonder how, HOW you can create a unique fragile little soul who speaks my language?! How on Earth is it possible!?

And you must post pictures of your new doll here for everyone to see! She is so pretty. I love her olive skin tone. Maybe you can start a Discussion thread for lutsenko's dolls too.

How lovely that you have been inspired in this way! St Petersburg is a place I have always dreamed of visiting one day! Russia to me has always been a country where traditional poetry, fairy tales, and folklore are an integral part of great literature and art. Russian dolls to me represent all these components rolled into one. Looking forward to seeing Your work!
