I agree, some of those prices are high. But one has sold already!!
I love that Girl Dressed in Blue. Great wig! She looks very polished and high quality. So does Victoriya's doll. I always admire her work.

I love the girl dressed in blue too... been watching her for a little while. She's way out of my price range but she looks so real! <3

I find it so odd the perception the prices are crazy high .. I am new to the doll world though and I can see it has has a very recent rise in awareness, possibly due to the high-end work of Marina Byckova. As an artist myself I am delighted to see the prices start to move to a value which represents the hours of work and experience into each doll.

I think some prices are high and others seem more than reasonable- I like that artists are finally getting more for their art dolls than they used to. Currently I am stalking "Girl Dressed in Blue" and the one by Clara Fornar (I tried researching her but could find out nothing about her except that she is Italian. I think she has only made a small handful of dolls maybe- I like her style ). Gorgeous dolls!!!

I am currently ordering two porcelains, both direct from the artists (a secret until they arrive home ) so no eBay shopping for me!
