I recently received a request to make a pair of cloud shoes for an Enchanted Doll. I was excited to see the size of an Enchanted Doll foot and also to take on this challenge. My dolls Cloud and Black Cloud come with a pair of shoes that resemble Vivian Westwood rocking horse shoes, but they have a traditional Japanese cloud as the sole. I was surprised by how tiny Enchanted Doll's feet are! Needless to say, I had to sculpt an entirely new base and calculate the shrinkage rate for porcelain. Through trial and error, I arrived at just the right size. I am making steady progress and should be finished with them in a couple of days! I am feeling pretty good about how they turned out, however, the real test is to get them shipped out and see if they fit those tiny, regal, ED feet! This is so awesome!! Do you take commissions on shoes? Could I commission you to make a pair of more tradition heels for my enchanted doll as well?

almostanangel I also asked about commissions! I just love the cloud motif on the heel, the grey contrast with the gold... like the sun from behind the clouds - tinyshirt - just perfect shoe design! I want these for me

hello almostanangel and kamia I am new to making these shoes for other dolls. I am working from a casting of an ED foot, it's not quite a full casting because the top is missing, however, I am able to determine some of the important dimensions from the casting. I will be finishing these up this week and shipping them out. If they fit the tiny client I will be able to take on some custom orders. If they work out almostanangel then I will let you know and you can send me an image of the type of shoe you are interested in. kamia I love your interpretation of my color scheme, it's a very lovely concept!
